From wiki.
# Glitch in Shenzun tunnels, when first entering the area with peasants, it'll show the name 'Lou, of the Knives', but won't display him. This seems to happen more often than him actually appearing the correct way.
# In Shenzun tunnels, he will not spawn until you go down by stairs near point where he supposed to spawn.

Zodiac Meteor already stated it, so there is really no reason I say it as well. But a forum never works that way .
He is a pop-up so you need to go to his spot before he pops along with some of his friends

The vast majority will know this, but just incase anyone didn't:
What with the cheapish price of Assassin Elite Tomes, sometimes if you cannot be bothered to go out and cap you could always unlock the elite skill using Balthazar faction (3K, I believe) and then just use an Elite Tome.
Personally, I would be inclined to cap it if only for the Skill Capping title.

Flashing Blades and Shadow Form are both elite skills - you can't use them both at once.

One of the reasons people use R/A is so that they can cast high costing mana skills with the use of Expertise (-4% off of the base mana cost of attack skills per rank of Expertise). This way you can use a high mana costing Assassin attack skill that may require a base of 10mana but, even with 10 Expertise, it will cost 6mana.
I would advise getting rid of points in Beast Mastery and Shadow Arts. I would put points into Expertise and Dagger Mastery as our main foundational build. Maybe you could incorporate another attribute. Expertise, Dagger Mastery and something else of your choice.
Though it is nice to have a pet, quite frankly, I feel it is a waste of skill slots where you could be more effective with higher ranked attributes in a specific area - probably Dagger Mastery.
Remember that Flashing Blades does not kick in until you are attacking someone - incase anyone had forgot. Some people believe that once they are in FB stance it is running to full effect when really it does not work until you are attacking the target foe.
Skills like Shroud of Distress can be eliminated in PvE because we all should have monks who can handle keeping us/the team alive;
let the monk worry about monking and
let the assassin worry about assassinating
Watch out for party wide Disease with skales in the First City too; condition removal will suffice.
Finally, different scenarios require different builds. Flashing Blades will be good for some missions where as it will be useless for others.

3246251196, thank you very much for you input. I should have put this in from the start but I don't really run with henchmen or other people. I'm looking for solo builds and i suppose places that I can farm with them.
I do have as well at lvl 20 but not very far into the campaign and personally I find that VwK or SS is rather boring. My 130 D/Mo is pretty fun I think but just gets ripped down in most places. The scales I can do in packs of 3 although the casters give me trouble with that slowing spell. Anymore than 3 and I have a really hard time. I only have hardmode in nightfall as well. I do like my Derv and Ranger both... just have a really hard time finding some builds that can solo farm with them.
Someone in another thread suggested that dervs are only good for running but damn that just sounds boring as hell..I wanna kill shit lol

People will often tell you things like that.
You just have to realise that you play how you want to play.
That's what I do.
